Many people get frustrated because they work out a lot but get no results. The reason for this is because they overlook the importance of food.

Ninety percent of the results which you will get from working out are going the be determined by the foods you eat.

You must eat foods which are high in protein in order to grow lean muscles.

For anybody who is new to weight training, starting with heavy weights can be very counter productive. Lighter weights will allow you to lift more reps which in turn will increase the blood flow to those areas of the body which is what you want. More quicker muscle growth, search google for 'compound exercises' to start (ie. pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, push-ups, etc). They might not be as 'cool' as other exercises, but you will see results much, much quicker.

  • i know a vegetarian who is RIPPed .....so i dont kno wha this guys talkin bout

  • @kkushen There are various beans (soy beans for example) that you can eat for protein for starters. There are also protein shakes though I'm not sure if any of the products come from actual animals, but a professional nutritionist or someone at your local vitamin store or gym should be able to direct you about the shakes and you can probably google the beans or vegetables with protein to get that info in seconds.

  • Dude um vegetarian ? how am i supposed to get more proteins??? o.O

  • Okay... Off to bar to drink milk...
