with great power comes great responsibility note: I do not own this but I love Spiderman and want to share one of the most important life lessons taught in the movie. I am not trying to ruin anything for copyright claim. this belongs to Sony Pictures ...

This is a great/sad scene. I love this movie. I think this is better than The Amazing Spider man.

I don't know about 616, but I try to read about Spider-Man as much as possible. Is 616 supposed to be the Silver Age comic books from when Spider-Man first debuted? Or is it another different dimension with new continuity? My problem is that he only made like 1 wisecrack when he wrestled Bonesaw McGraw in the steel cage. After that, throughout the trilogy, it's like whatever happened to the wisecracking wall crawler we've all come to know? Just cuz organic webbing makes sense doesn't make it ok

Go to hell! Sam Raimi's take on Spider-Man was that of self parody and injected so much stupidity into the movies. Faithful?? Lmao! In Raimi's movies, Peter Parker isn't really the genial and inventive crime fighting youth. Hells, Maguire doesn't really look like Peter from the comic books. Andrew does very very much. Spider-Man in Raimi's movies doesn't make wise-cracks like a smart ass and has organic webbing as a result of his mutation, instead of the webshooters. This spidey cries 2 much!

Thanks. The first Spider-Man comic book with his name on the title had the Chameleon as the first costumed super villain he faced off against. The Lizard came out not too long after by issue 6, I think. But Lizard did come before Green Goblin, so yeah, you are right. There is more chronological order being maintained in the latest movie.

Fuck off, the Raimi's movies are more faithful to the original 616 story
