As part of the I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East -- Hyak to Keechelus Dam project, crews are removing rock from the slopes above I-90 with rock blasting to make room for a new six-lane highway. Since 2010, crews have removed approximately 500,000 cubic yards of debris.
