Mehbooba is a 1976 Hindi Bollywood film produced by Mushir-Riaz and directed by Shakti Samanta. The film stars Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini , Yogeeta Bali and Prem Chopra. The music is composed by R. D. Burman while the lyrics is written by Anand Bakshi.

Hema Malini (born 16 October 1948) is an Indian actress, director and producer, as well as a Bharatanatyam dancer-choreographer.She went on to appear in numerous successful Bollywood films, most notably those with actor and future-husband Dharmendra.

Dreams and Hema Malini are synonymous. She is Bollywood's dazzling Dream Girl.She was promoted as a 'dream girl' from her very first Hindi film 1968 ("The Dream seller"), until, in 1977, she even starred in a hit film of the same name. She became one of the reigning divas of the Bollywood film industry, and her fans called her The Dream Girl of Bollywood (an allusion to the movie "DREAM GIRL " where she starred opposite Dharamendra.

Hema is one of the most successful female film stars in the history of Indian cinema. Appearing in over 150 films in a career span of 40 years, she has starred in a large number of hit films, and her performances in both commercial and art house cinema, were often recognized.She established herself as one of Hindi cinema's leading actresses, noted for both her comic and dramatic roles, and her accomplished classical dancing.


Hema Malini was and still remains one of the most popular and most loved female stars of Hindi cinema. Her A-List status cemented by her box office hit after hit magic touch has seen Hema in some of the most famous and enduring hits of Bollywood cinema.

She is the perfect definition of beauty. When she appears on the silver screen, she mesmerizes the audience with her smile, gestures and postures. She kills million by her bright eyes. She is a women of strict principles who has never taken the help of obscene roles to climb the ladder of success. In fact, her every look has work as a killer dosage. Just one word is enough for this which is ''Outstandingly Great''!

Everything is so great and perfect about this song that can't express in words. Great music by Pancham Da (R.D.Burman), awesomely sung by Lata Didi, very touching lyrics by Anand Bakshi and fantastically performed by Hema Malini. Its nothing else but an ''Perfection'' indeed!
