*********More information Below********

Hey guys,

Just a big continuation from the last video we did on building major, minor, aug and dim chords.

This video adds in the 7th note. Many many chord progressions use 7th degree notes in their progressions so it's a good idea to understand why they work and how they function.

Major 7th:
1 3 5 7

Minor 7th
1 3b 5 7b

Dominent 7th
1 3 5 7b

Diminished 7th
1 3b 5b 7bb

  • @freebirdjoe thanks for the kind words mate!

Some times it's tricky because I don't want the video's to go for too long, but ultimately I want people to understand what's going after one viewing of the video,

    Thankyou for subscribing, welcome aboard!

  • Perfect timing man. I just started getting into theory a bit and trying to figure out the difference between major7, minor7 and add7... so this helps!!!

  • These videos are great dude, all this stuff for me seemed really daunting to learn, but it really is quite easy. you explain things really well. it does seem a bit slow paced however, but i realise you are directing these videos at people that dont have the basic knowledge required to learn this stuff. you're doin a top job man, im always lookin forward to the next vid

  • Great how to do 9 'my fav" 11,13 thank you, Brenda D

  • I have a question... when you have the first inversion in a D minor 7, do you write down Dm7 (and then the inversion) 6/5, or do you just go: Dm6/5?

  • @cerps94 Thanks dude!

  • Perfect video!
