If I can play this Jay Lou Ava style after hearing it once, including the stutter muted style tossed in, and I'm 1/100th the guitarist George Benson is, then George can play this stuff right out of the gate. It was fun to play with. And easy to come up with counter melodies.

Even though Jay Lou Avas anti-demonstrative playing focuses on the melody and harmonies, his style, is a soft fusion between smooth jazz and African melodies, a music genre with no bounds that he calls himself Progressive Afro Jazz ( PAJ ), the music of contemporary Africa.
Open your ears, and listen to music around the world. Benson is Benson, Jay Lou Ava is Jay Lou Ava!!!!

mudywaters1 you don't know enough about music. This is a 6/8 tempo mixed with 4/4. George Benson is a fantastic guitar player, but he can not play this African style. Man, try to learn a little bit about the story of music.
