Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still working on things and to give everyone a heads up on some of what's coming in the next version of iTween.

  • iTween 2.0 is live!

  • Just remembered another few additions. You can now Pause, and Resume as well as more Stop and Count controls. There's a ton of other things but I'll write it all out when I'm all done.

  • brilliant! The addition of generic value tweens is genius. So does that mean it will work with GUI now?

  • @ingleinteractive The generic iTweens will be one way of attaching it; but I'm trying to add even better GUI focused methods. I'm always open for suggestions ;)

  • No JS... serious bummer. Learning curve is steep enough for Unity; now I have to learn a new language just to use this. I assume I have to change ALL my code? or can I mix JS (which I know well) with C#? Maybe I'll just stay with the first version instead....

  • @tvalleau Woah, woah there Mr. Negative. If you recall in the video I state that I worked to make sure JavaScript and C# users have the EXACT same experience. You can use C# from JavaScript and its EXACTLY as it was with version 1.0. Cool?

  • This is awesome , I love iTween. Keep up the good work :)

  • Also loving your work, its like 100X's easier to make cut scenes etc, It will certainly be very useful if many situations, Ill be sure to drop you a nice big donation if my game finds success :)

  • Nevermind, Worked it out :)

  • error CS0101: The namespace `global::' already contains a definition for `Path'

    I dont understand how I can get around this? Im a javascript user.

    Line: public class Path : MonoBehaviour {

    I want to make a different script for a different path, so it moves at a different time.... But its like i cant have two seperate scripts carrying out similar actions on the same project :(

  • Awesome, great stuff! I love seeing cool tools like this for Unity developers.

  • @pixelplacement OK... sorry... all I heard was "I'm going to only have a C3 version now..." and took that next bit " make sure that JS and C# users have exactly the same experience" to mean that "you'll get the same results using C# as you'd have gotten using JS." Sorry I misinterpreted what you said. I'll just shut up and wait and see.
