2:46 isn't a glitch. It shows that you already beat that boss, and that if you go down there and save, theres no point in doing the whole thing again. Its black beause it exploded, note the countdown when you ran from the metroid area

haha there is a muh better glitch in the room at 1:18, (what you showed isn't even a glitch) if you stand further away from the save point and jump and save, when you die you glitch through the floor and you get to see the slow platform spike room! much better
