Workers from the Rendezvous hotel in Auckland picket outside the hotel on 16 June 2010. The workers are members of the Service and Food Workers Union Nga Ringa Tota (SFWU). They have not had a payrise for over 2 years, and now their boss is offering a 1.5% payrise only if they agree to a number of clawbacks to existing entitlements, including cuts to sick leave, affordable parking and subsidised health insurance. They are not willing to sell these conditions for around 22c an hour more!
