Hard Drive: Fail!

Instead of an Apple showing up when the Macbook booted up, I saw a symbol with a circle through it, suggesting there was a problem. I had the HD fail on my Mac Book about a year after I got it and they replaced it absolutely free. Apple Care is a definite must have.

Only thing that sucked is they refused to give me my old HD back.

Chris, mine just went out and i am going to replace my own harddrive and use the extra cash to upgrade to a 1Tb. Any brand names i should avoid

When I lost all my itunes content, i called tech support and they sent it all to my computer for free. The person called it a regrant =)
