The Battle of Iwo Jima was fought during the Pacific Campaign of World War II. The defenders were well entrenched and instructed to defend the island to the last man. Composed using rare and original colour footage shot during the campaign. Music sourced from the Band of Brothers soundtrack.

@gamergeektwo Hey what about canadians they helped too :D, if they're given the task to do something they will do it, they helped liberate Italy, Holland and some towns in Normandy.

@ndkblackhawk, Korean war was started by North Korea, Vietnam War was the indirect result of the Korean War & the politics of the Cold War in general, 1st Gulf War was sanctioned by the UN & the troops of many Muslim & non-Muslim nations fought with the UN Forces to liberate Kuwait, 2nd Gulf War occurred because Sadam had hundreds of tons of 'yellow cake' & because he used a WMD - poison gas (chem-bio Artillery shells) against UN forces in 1991 & against the Kurds & Shiites.

Very little of the technology developed in the United States is developed with public funds. Most technology is developed by private companies that could set up anywhere else in the world, but choose to setup in the United States due to its large economy and wealth of personel. Also trading from America is alot easier then trading from elsewhere. Its more the fault of those countries with strict tariffs, export laws and VAT; not really the US.

just putting it out there.. in 1945 the invasion of normandy the US got Omaha beach which wasw the hardest one.. The British led Operation Market Garden and it failed.. Patton was and could have finished the war by Christmas.....

one of my friends say that the U.s. kicked japan, Germans, and the italions ass in world war 2 but I said alot of marines died "Kicking their ass". I thought the British, French, Russians, and the australions did the most important battles in the war. respect to all soldiers who died in the war.

The Iraq War is pretty much over. We already won. There's still suicide bombings but that's pretty much just desperate acts of barbarity by islamists. They don't threaten to overthrow the government of Iraq.
