Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter (1974)

Captain Kronos (Horst Janson; Murphy's War) , a vampire hunter and expert swordsman who, with the assistance fo the beautiful gypsy Carla (Caroline Munro; The Spy Who Love Me) and his hunchbacked assistant, Professor Grost (John Cater; Rising Damp), roam the country in search of vampires. On their travels, the trio happens upon a village where they find that a vampire has been draining the youth from beautiful, young girls. Devising a daring plan, Captain Kronos and his aids attempt to save the village before the death toll equlas the population.

ACTUALLY, I believe that death from exposure to sunlight is uam poetic license taken by the cinema. in the book of Bran Stoker, Dracula, Count tb moves during the day. But you remembered them. There are several other films.

Did you noticed the vampires didn't burn in the sunlight in this movie? well there are many kind of vampires but only European vampires burn in the sunlight while Asian vampires that suck youth/souls/energy instead of blood turn invisible, i'm a vampire expert. Ever seen Martin, The Hunger, Near Dark, Lifeforce, Sleepwalkers, Lair of the White Worm, Wisdom of Crocodiles etc.? all showed unique unconventional vampires on film that show vamps aren't all stereotypes.

Awesome vampire movie, who else loves that this movie is a nice change of pace from the usual boring bloodsucking creep of vampires as these vampires drain energy/youth/souls? i mean it's like in the movie Lifeforce to even Sleepwalkers or Planet of the Vampires.
