If Goldberg had won that rematch in Atlanta i think WCW would've been fine. But he never won the WCW title again while it went from Nash-Hogan-DDP-Nash-Savage-Hog­an-Sting-Hart-Benoit-Sid & then another major fuckup when they put it on Jeff Jarrett a bunch of times. Oh and David Arquette...By early 2000 WCW was nothing but garbage.

So this is how Nash became # 1 contender to Goldberg's title which he went on to win at Starcade that year & ended the undefeated streak. I look at this as being the one big thing that ruined WCW. Not necessarily Nash beating Goldberg but the rematch in Altlanta where it ended up being Nash vs Hogan instead & the infamous Fingerpoke of Doom. That's where WCW fucked up big time & i don't think they ever really recovered. Imagine how those 70,000 fans at the Georgia Dome felt...ripped off!
