http://fatnews.com/ Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com.

Joan Mathews Larson PhD is the author of "7 Weeks to Sobriety" and "Depression-Free Naturally".

She has been treating people for drug and alcohol problems with nutritional therapies since 1980.

She found that just about everyone who walked through their door had anxiety and depression, so she started treating that as well.

She points out that drug and alcohol problems are the result of biochemical glitches that cannot be solved with Talk Therapy such as Alcoholic Anonymous.

This video clips shows a dramatic Before and After picture of a woman, Mary, who had been treated for 14 years with psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants, and had spent time in psychiatric wards and tried Talk Therapy, but it had failed.

The amazing After picture shows Mary 6 months after she had gone through Dr. Larson's treatment center.

74% of alcoholic patients who came through her clinic were still sober and emotionally stable 3.5 years later compared to only 5-7% of people trying to treat their alcohol problems with Talk Therapy such as Alcoholic Anonymous.

Talk therapy programs such as 12-Step Programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) cannot possibly fix biochemical problems that cause anxiety and depression as well as drug and alcohol problems (alcoholism).

The only way to fix these problems is with nutritional repair.

The drug companies / pharmaceutical companies want to give psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs to people with drug and alcohol problems / drug addicts and alcoholics.

  • my god amazing

  • @dionstrezlecki Yes, amazing. If anyone wants a screenshot of these Before and After pictures side-by-side to show their doctor or psychiatrist or family or friend with anxiety and depression to show them what is possible with orthomolecular medicine, you can email me at larryshobbs[at]gmail.com and I will send it to you. Every doctor treating depression with drugs should watch this. Their eyes would be opened. Larry Hobbs

  • Larry, I can't remember if I ever thanked you for the many fantastic videos that you've posted. Has been a light for me in treating myself. I feel so much better. So, thank you!

  • @blakkorchyd Thank you for your nice comment. I appreciate it.

  • I also used to go to AA until I turned vegan. I wont discourage people from going there, however I would also suggest they change their eating habits. There will then be less and less people who continue attending meetings after a few years of sobriety. In fact I am going to go to a meeting and share this and expect them to laugh at me, because most of them are too narrow minded to be open to other solutions. :)

  • @openfreethinker Thanks for sharing your story about how your vegan diet has helped and your experience with AA.

  • Now they want to make it a crime if natural healers don't follow pharmaceutical healing practices. Talk about evil from govt from top to bottom, local, state, federal...

  • @dannyboidj1 Anyway, I think it's worth a shot reading, researching and trying vitamins on top of whatever else you're doing now. Try to eat cleaner, when you're able. It takes a while to hit on what works for you, but I feel so much stronger now. And I think I'm mostly recovered from the drugs I had taken over the years. It's a process, but if me and others can do it, why not you too? Much luck on your journey.

  • @dannyboidj1 I have a chronic pain situation mixed with depression and some anxiety on and off, coupled with a family history of both alcoholism and schizophrenia. I had done the rounds trying different anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds over the years. None of those really worked for me or they made me feel worse (although xanax does give a nice buzz, it's super addictive). I now do pretty aggressive vitamins & eat some raw foods (at least veggies/fruit smoothies) & as organic as I can.

  • @blakkorchyd so would you say that the natural route has helped you? were you taking any prescription drugs prior to going the natural route and if you did do you believe you have recovered fully from the drugs? thanks
