all such pieces are very good at making mystery music but hardly any happy music... please let me know if you know any...more happy sound with quater tome piano

@niazi1985 That's because you've been conditioned throughout your life to find the equal temperament major scale 'happy sounding'. The reason this sounds 'mysterious' is because you weren't exposed to it in childhood. So it's not that these pieces aren't good at making 'happy music', it's that we're not good at HEARING it as being happy. But actually, I listen to a lot of atonal music, and this has a lot of interesting tone colors while still seeming more emotionally happy than atonal music can.

I'll admit, that thing looks like a massive musical monstrosity; however, it's stuff like this that pokes holes in convention and open the doors to new (if less "sonorous") music. It needs to be done.

this is great. my first experience with microtonal music was this compostion:) how do you compose this?? u got a quartertone piano, or you played on it somewhere? or you just tuned two piano's in a different way (normal and a quarter higher/lower)?
