  • @niazi1985 That's because you've been conditioned throughout your life to find the equal temperament major scale 'happy sounding'. The reason this sounds 'mysterious' is because you weren't exposed to it in childhood. So it's not that these pieces aren't good at making 'happy music', it's that we're not good at HEARING it as being happy. But actually, I listen to a lot of atonal music, and this has a lot of interesting tone colors while still seeming more emotionally happy than atonal music can.

  • Horrible, this is raping of the piano ! I hope, that you will never compose something like this shit !

  • Dude, your piano is melting.

  • I'll admit, that thing looks like a massive musical monstrosity; however, it's stuff like this that pokes holes in convention and open the doors to new (if less "sonorous") music. It needs to be done.

  • good stuff sir!

  • aaarrrrrggghhhh!

  • @DieselBodine I'm just starting to upload my piano compositions, just check my channel (weirder ones will be up shortly once I find the right accompanying pictures)

  • this is great. my first experience with microtonal music was this compostion:) how do you compose this?? u got a quartertone piano, or you played on it somewhere? or you just tuned two piano's in a different way (normal and a quarter higher/lower)?

    its really cool!
