Carving Huehuetl part 2.mp4

Video 2 of learning to Carve a "Huehuetl, Ceremonial Mexican Drum". Here I've finished carving. My experience with making instruments (over 50,000 since the year 1990, most of that was from 2000 to present because I did tons of schools and workshop). I come to school and make Bamboo Flutes (not those cheap side blown but "end blown" ones, Native American style and get grades K and up to play quickly and easily. Note, please do not copy these particular drums for drum circles, these are our sacred instruments and we, of Mexicano heritage, produce them. We want to keep them ours...and no don't read in between my writing and no I'm not mad. what I don't want to see is this mass produced by some cheesy drum company to make money of our cultura, that's all.
