My 1984 VW Polo bready with a 1997 1.4 16V AFH engine. Running fuel injection ECU

Noisy tappets on first start, engine has sat for 7 months.. This is the next engine I fitted after the GT.

  • @jasmenter no finished videos yet, I have a little bit more work to do on the car, then I will upload some more. I think I got lucky as well as a lot of work put in to get it set up proper. Check my channel in a few weeks for some more videos.

  • @666FireLoL

Its really a great find or you did tip top job in setting it up!!!

My 1999 Magneti Marelli ecu is bloody rough at idle ! :)

Do yo u have any finished videos ?

    Cheers

  • @jasmenter thanks, it runs even nicer now I drive it all the time :) standard polo 6N ecu!! taken from donor car along with immobiliser etc...

  • Nice fit there ! !!!

That Afh purs like a kitten at idle,

What ecu are u using ?

  • @espero135 thanks, it's not complete yet even. I did a lot of stuff to make it fit, but it uses all of the original engine mounts! the wiring needed the most work.

  • what did you do to make it fit? looks awesome!
