  • What do i buy? a EC-1000 or EC-500, Ive heard that there's not much difference in playability and sound.

  • true, difference is only in hardware: bridge, tuners etc.

  • oh and also, you dont think the neck is to thin because the way I hear people discribe it is realy thin, but it doesnt look like its affecting your playing

  • no, this neck is very comfortable

  • awesome man, great playing, where do you get your distortion from

  • Thanks! from TonePort - soldano amp with mesa cab.

  • anyone else ever notice that this and "loco" by coal chamber use the same chords?

  • again fucking awesome rock on dude

  • FAIL !!

  • You using POD Farm with the TonePort?

  • @ohyeah15 I find the neck of mine is chunky, but reasonably quick. It's no Ibanez III but it's very comfortable. As soon as I picked it up I was happy with the feeel, but I have big hands, so it might not suit all. You can stand off it a bit with your thumb on the back for quick single note rythmn riffs or grab a big handful for string bends.

  • @xArnthorx Save your money and buy the 500. As others have said, the only difference is the tuners, the bindings and the inlays. The 500 sounds EXACTLY the same. Now called the EC401 I believe.

  • Is it me, or did the very intro sound like Slipknot material? Not that that's a bad thing, it's just kinda cool to notice :)

  • @recyclehumanparts

one of the best ways to practice guitar is to play challenging licks, but watch tv at the same time so you don't get frustrated or bored.
