You are mistaking there;) those 2 speed rc cars run very small internal combustion engines, there are no electric cars with a gearbox (except a few scale cars) and the great thing of electric motors is that they don't need gearboxes because all their power is their at once not at a small rpm band like al IC engine have.

The rider seemed like he's afraid of it, like he couldn't get into the power of it. He never caught any air or even pulled the front end up. He looked like he was unsure keeping both feet off the pegs for extended time as he took off. But that's just what I think. Regarding the bike, I'd like one too ;o)

maybe more than just 2 gears would be better too, I think there is RC cars with 3 gears, it would save on power too if the electric motor doesn't turn as fast it would be using less electricity thus making it so it can go further on a charge and go faster

Is there any reason why the ydont put a gearbox on?
If im not misstaken, some rc-cars have 2 gears that switch automatic?
Why not use it for this and maybe they can gain some better top speed

yhh they only reach 45mph but my friend is review the new motocross version and i can tell u ur hitin 45 in 1 second. the eceleration is crazy. would be ideal for supercross or enduro but not enough top end for motocross. good fun bikes!!!!!

I like to concept but they only go 45mph and only last for 2.5 hours.
