After making allowances for these being schoolchildren, there are far too many "daughters" and they are more like a rabble than dignified victorian maidens. Nice costumes, though. Re the song, it is THY steps retrace, not YOUR steps. I'm not sure how the cadenzas would have sounded if they had not been cut out.
