Proof that the Gospels and Christian teachings have changed. Justin Martyr stated 1. Jordan river caught on fire when Jesus was Baptised 2. Jesus died not just for the salvation of our souls, but, for the salvation of our flesh.

"And then, when Jesus had gone to the river Jordan, where John was baptizing, and when He had stepped into the water, a fire was kindled in the Jordan; and when He came out of the water, the Holy Ghost lighted on Him like a dove, [as] the apostles of this very Christ of ours wrote." Justin Martyr-Dialogue with Trypho, Chapter 88.

"..the Saviour in the whole Gospel shows that there is salvation for the flesh, why do we any longer endure those unbelieving and dangerous arguments, and fail to see that we are retrograding when we listen to such an argument as this: that the soul is immortal, but the body mortal, and incapable of being revived? For this we used to hear from Pythagoras and Plato, even before we learned the truth. If then the Saviour said this, and proclaimed salvation to the soul alone, what new thing, beyond what we heard from Pythagoras and Plato and all their band, did He bring us? But now He has come proclaiming the glad tidings of a new and strange hope to men." Justin Martyr-The Resurrection, Chapter 10.

  • Hello again my friend. It's been a long time since I've posted on your videos. I hope you are keeping well? I've been doing a bit of study since and I think you might find what I've discovered at least worthy of some consideration.

I think I understand now where you are coming from. I also understand where everybody else is coming from. I had to take a big step back in order to move forward. I read the 'House of the Messiah', by Ahmed Osman. It was an eye opener! We can all be fooled!?

  • @dortyfocker, Yes, I have not read his books, but, I understand he has another titled, "Jesus in the House of the Pharaohs: The Essene Revelations on the Historical Jesus" in which he claims that "Jesus" was actually the OT "Joshua", who the world has come to know as "Tutankhamun" or "King Tut". His name meant "Living Image of Amun", so one can see how over the years he could be called the Son of God. Christian still invoke the name "Amen" in their prayers.

  • can you post a link of what Justin Martyr said??

  • @Petitegirl90, References were given in ther video, they are now posted in the info box. I'm sure Justin Martyr's works can be easily found on the internet.
