its going to be the future...I want to invest!

I'm not being pompous. I was expecting more professionalism from a startup online posting a video to YouTube. Besides, any piercings beyond the ears on anyone doesn't look good--many company's dress codes label them as forbidden anyways due to lack of professionalism.

This appears to be an attempt at cool, which fails. The most important message should be the reason why a user would get better relevancy of results. Imagine an animation that illustrates the parsing of text and the subsequent impact on the quality of results. Nail the essence and spend a few bucks on folks that can deliver cool.

Absolutely! Powerset issues a brand-new MacBook pro to every new employee, so we're beyond Mac-friendly. . . we're in love =)

Seems like it will be a great product. I do agree with some of the other comments though. The presentation was lacking a little. Possibly have someone else work the camera next time.

Mac friendly?

I guess I missed the piercing that eveyone seems so concerned about. Silly me, I was more interested in what he was talking about. Yeah, I'm an old man I guess (at 53), but he seems like such a nice, earnest young fellow...

Lose the eyebrow piercing, button up that shirt, and put on a tie. Stand still and stop lifting your eyebrows every few seconds (its distracting from what you are saying). Why isn't someone else with you on this? A second person should have been controlling the camera and the computer you are recording on. You ending it like that doesn't look good for you, your company, or anything you are trying to sell me.
The video doesn't say much about anything...as long as I am willing to take the time to watch it, please take the time to say something that extends beyond marketing blah blah.
