This song brings sunshine into a dismal world of where we live. This song is what happiness is all about, not only does it say to me jump up and dance, it says go and pack your backs and fly off to Jamaica.

Shame I am 92 years old and living on a measly pension....So jumping up and dancing is out of the damm question and scraping by on a measly pension means no holidays to Jamaica.

Lovely song like Seven tears is to a brillint song. Shame Sun of Jamaca didn't get very high in the chart & even to No1 would have been BRILLIANT but so glad seven tears made No1 March 1982. Sun of Jamaca came into the chart in May of the same year when LOADS other classic stuff entered the chart back then. Yes what a wonderful year for music like the rest of the 80s & other decades. Oh yes this really takes me back to my beloved school days spent in the Lovely Lake District boarding school.
