Caleb Smile Big for Mommy!

Hi! Meet Caleb, or Peanut as most people know him. Caleb was a 26 week preemie. Now at Three years old, Caleb recently under went a surgery to repair his stomach, where he contracted a severe blood infection. He was transferred to a local hospital in New Mexico and put on an ECMO machine, also known as a heart-lung machine, since his lungs were no longer able to function. This is the same machine that they use for heart transplants. He was on ECMO for nearly one month. He is just 8 days post ECMO in this video, and just a fews days off the ventilator.
