  • @Gideon6640man all people and nations had martial arts, every culture has a warrior aspect to it, the chinese did not invent martial arts

  • @Gideon6640man you need to do more homework and research. peace

  • I don't see what the problem is. Americans martial artists have been taking other styles from different countries for years. Styles like Kajukenbo, American Kempo, Jeet Kune Do, MMA, 52 Blocks Chun Kuk Do are examples of Contemporary Martial Arts in America. So why is there a problem of African-Americans creating a martial art system from Asian, or African martial arts. BKF Kempo 52 Blocks, Chinese Goju and Wushudo are examples of martial arts created by African-Americans.

  • If it wasnt for africans migrating to eureasia 100,000 to 200,000 yrs ago when tectonic plates. Were closer together some parts of Asia wouldn't have a population. I'm tired of ignorant ppl discrediting my ppl culture.

  • lol@gideon6640 not to be rude but i can show you if my art is original or crap its the first martial art known to man africa is older than china do your home work first then we can talk go back 100,000,000 years then come back and talk to me (revisionist crap like kwamza)? this comes from our bloodline dont play with me

  • There way are those arts superior to the african ones then? Makes no sense what you say. The Chinese are the originators of the martial arts as we know it today, yes there were trained warriors in all societies through out history but it's the Chinese we are indeted to. Wing chun,Jeet Kundo ,Kenpo,Kajukenbo,Filipino,Ju Jitsu, these and a few others are effective.Besides I realy doubt the legitamacy of this "African Martial Art" seems like revisionist crap like Kwanza.

  • @KisakiWarugi - Capoeira is partially based on the African martial art Ngolo, which was practiced in Middle (Congo) and Southern Africa. I wish I could have found this when I was looking, in the dark days before Google. Instead I found and practiced Capoeira.

  • The imitation of various animals has its roots in Africa and has an influence of the Indian, Chinese, Okinawan, Japanese Martial Arts.

  • @osotrari Hopefully you'll get around ot the sparring,my brutha...

  • Very Good!
