Yes, that is so true. The driver should at least 2 older and responsible kids to help the others off the bus. Plus, if the driver is the first one off the bus, then how will he or she know that no one is left on the bus?

they done the evac. totally wrong besides the driver being evac. themselfs first, they should never start the evac. from back to the front if there is a fire or incident in the front of the bus. That is the major SAFETY issue.

What is this driver checking as she walks around the bus? None of the lights are on & operating, never checks the fuel cap, thumping the tires???? WTF??? OK, the back door works....

A bus driver should never leave the seat. Their should always be a teaching assistant aboard the bus to do all of those things for the smaller childern with seat belts or special needs. This is because the driver gets off the bus, that puts lives in danger to the on board and anyone that might be coming. They sit back down and never see the child who ran in front of the bus. So safety first.

i know for a fact because i have watched the drivers from my school do thier pre trip walk around and they do all of the things that are shown in this video every morning thoug the shop workers check the tires

some schools do not make their bus drivers check their tires they have one of the shop people check the tires

That evacuation was done totally wrong. The driver should be LAST off the bus to ensure no kids are left on board.
