This is a video answer from Hans-Ruedi from Switzerland to american gun lobbyists, who use Switzerland as an example to justify gun posession. It's meant as an answer on the Youtube videos unter the title "Why Switzerland has a low crimerate" spreading false facts about the gun possession in Switzerland.
Just an addition: Those poeple in the "Switzerland - lowest crime rate" videos also talk about holocaust and that people need tools to defend themselves.
Look at the role of Switzerland in WW2. They were not overrun by the nazis because they had guns. They were not overrun by the nazis because they where the nazi's bankers. Would your rob your own bank?
And when the discussion comes on holocaust: go study history books about Switzerland in WW2 and see if they defended any jew from the holocaust with the use of a gun or not. You won't find any swiss bullet that was fired for that use.
Myths can be mighty, but they are not always true...
