Well,I know I'm gonna sound like an 'old fart',but when I was that age,you used your fists! Kids rarely,if ever pulled out a knife,for chrissakes.And for what? Being refused entry to a party?! Jeeze! Whether alcohol was a factor here or not,or whether they were asserting their 'gang' credentials should not be a consideration when it comes to sentencing! If you wanna play the 'hard man' & you kill someone,be prepared to serve some prison time!

these bastards should go to jail for life. you're not innocent if your "crew" is walking the streets with knives. you're planning on a fight when you're armed. Fights happen, but when you bring weapons in the situation and kill someone it doesn't matter who started the fight. You still killed someone. Now their parents are gonna have a real tough time for the rest of their life. I have a kid and couldn't imagine some fucking punk pulling a knife on him and getting away with it.

Esteban Nunez seems to act like its all a joke, I have seen a bunch of photos since this story broke out, in most of them he seems to be mocking reporters and cocky. I think he's likely a criminal whose a danger to society, if he gets off with this, he would become even more arrogant, and likely kill again. Murdering someone is not a joke, regardless of people kicking you out of a party you weren't invited to. I wouldn't either, he seems like someone I wouldn't trust let alone feel safe around.

The racism here are from the idiots that said the black guy was denied bail without even knowing him. He was guilty by association and if you dont know already the son of the assemblyman was the one that did the stabbing.
