A 2010 2nd semester student project: "Our Genocide" - From the "Trail of Tears" to "Wounded Knee", our native peoples; the first people to walk this land we call "America", have had much heartache. These proud people, of many nations do not look for revenge. Just some recognition, some pride, education, a chance for equality, liberty, and justice for their next generation. Because of the many sacrifices of groups like the American Indian Movement, and others who are now kicking up the dust of the Milky Way; from here and from the other side, Native Americans will one day fulfill Tecumseh's dream.
