Citrine Wagtail - Motacilla citreola

In 2009, when I saw this Citrine Wagtail or Yellow-headed Wagtail for the first time, I didn't have any handycam with me. Last year, I didn't see any. I thought they would not come this year too, fortunately, I was wrong!

@wondersf The book I've here also notes Hodgson's Yellowheaded Wagtail (M.c.calcarata) but with no details.

Yes, I notice that striking difference. I cannot comment much as I am not familair but there is a sub-species M. c. calcarata found mainly near Burma with those characteristic where breeding. Main diagnotic marking is the black mantle at the upper wing convert.

@wondersf Yesterday I got a new variety of the citrine, much the same as this one, but with richer black and more bright white on the upperside, will upload shortly. Though there were many usual variety of the Citrine as you see in this clip, the 'rich' one stood alone among them.
