  • Where is this organ?

  • In a music school "Schola Cantorum" in Paris. I'm so happy to get to know that you are very religious and now walking on the road for becoming a priest!! keep in touch!!:)

  • Will do. How long have you played organ? I taught myself for 2 years and began taking lessons in October. I was just accepted to the Westminster College organ week for 9th grade students this summer. I can't wait.

  • Wow! congratulations!! It's a real happiness to work in your passion! to play organ and also use it to serve God! I'm very glad to know that!! I have began to play organ since in april 2005 and took lessons since october 2005 till now, I was very lucky that my first time to play organ was in a monastery, I have this clip on my Vlog here, you can find it:)

  • Nice playing. My favorite composer!

  • my favorite composer too!:D

  • @1401JSC There are no real musical reasons for having it, your right. They are installed in only a few organs in the world, mostly as engineering feats or to show off.

  • I wish someone could explain to me the musical importance of having a 64' stop.

    1. I don't know any composition that needs it.

    2. If middle C has a frequency of 256 Hz, by my calculation a low C on the 64' stop would result in hearing 4 beats per second!

    uh uh uh uh

  • I didn't mean to click this video, but I am glad I did! Very nice piece, and playing.

  • J'espère que je pourrai un jour jouer un orgue comme ca, car la console, l'alignement des jeux... Mmmhhhh, tout ca me fait craquer, c'est un orgue vraiment magnifique dans sa sobriété !

  • That's a very, very beautiful organ! I love the stops.

  • Keep up the good work! You play with patience and feeling - qualities missing from so many of the "black belts" who play Vierne just to show off technique. You appeared to be using a swell pedal, though, but I couldn't hear any dynamic change.

  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un biniou à Paris ?

  • You have certainly done well since 2005. I have not yet played in a monastery. I have played on the 255 rank organ in St. Bart's in NYC though. I (hopefully) will be playing the organ in the Nation Shrine on the 22nd. It has a 64' as well.
