  • I think I am experiencing tendon pain in my bicep and up into my shoulder from too much keyboard use. The pain isn't severe but I do feel it after I've been typing for just a short while. Sometimes there is just a dull ache even not typing. Is this possibly all I would need to correct this? Thank you~

Consult your therapist who is going to perform a functional examination in order to determine which structure(s) is at fault and to set a preventive strategy.

It is indeed likely you suffer from some kind of repetitive strain injury ; incorporating variation in your dialy postures and activies is very important.

  • I am afraid you are not well informed yet about those procedures ; this is the easiest way to reach that specific part of the supraspinatus in an optimal way.

About the friction massage : it's all about respecting the practical details of execution, making it in fact one of the easier friction techniques. But, indeed, it stays manual work which demands some effort from the therapist, which cannot be replaced by whatever machine...more details see our web site

  • that looks horrible for the therapist there are much better techniques but the positioning is excellent.

  • the thumb does not do the friction, the thumb is positioned low, in order to keep the index finger horizontal and to have a good contact on the supra with this finger. so, the thumb is just a fulcrum
