@shwabity He can play music but the reason people say that is because it seems no where near as creative as his solos. I guess his style is just soloing.

The reason it doesn't sound great is because of the quality of the camera used. Thomas Lang is bloody excellent. Wish the video quality was better. Hate watching drumming videos where the camera doesn't keep up with the guys hands.

you can work with the settings of electronicd drums to avoid the machine gun effect but obviously nobody took the time to set it up for him, these sponsorship artists should learn how to do it and really take the care and effort to set the drum options where they need to be... things like response curve, ratio, gain, sensitivity, trigger doubling, etc etc etc they are gettring paid lots of money for their expertise on the instrument yet they dont know how to tune them in correctly.

Y'know.... he's so good he doesn't need tp play music with a band - any drum maker would be delighted to have him doing this to their kits during product demos / tours. What better advertisment / endorsement could you have for your kits?

he's a great innovative drummer with the chops, speed and passion...just don't know why the negative comments?? i guess those who don;t like him are the ones who don't know music at all..
