Many modern breeders will lie about the fact that the Bulldog of old looked very different from what they are breeding today. This video proves that the real Bulldog of old that actually was able to do what Bulldog is supposed to do looked nothing like the poor creature bred today...
In fact the real Bulldog of old looks much more like the Pitbull than it does like the modern show dog version which is riddled with health problems...

Unfortunately many people think like you... While your and their heart is in the right place you are throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Breeding dogs in today's or any other climate makes perfect sense. There has, is and forever will be a need for an able bodied dog to protect a family home. Breeding for power, stable temperaments, protection and intelligence will create a superior guardian. Remember that a "mutt" was "bad" breeding as well...

I just think that you take yourself just a little too serious. A little humility and REAL knowledge go a long way.

You keep talking about the "haters".

I am willing to bet that most people don't have a problem with your dogs but rather with the way you represent yourself.

You have a decent understanding of the k9 species but you try to pass as an expert. You simply don't have the knowledge or even the lingo that goes along with true expertise.

You are both producing good dogs in some, not all, people's eyes.

Stop throwing stones since you are in a glasshouse and be honest about what you do. You try to breed good dogs just like they do. That's all.
