u guys noe that we love house because he's the main character and we get to see scenes where he shows 'weakness', usually when he's alone. you guys do noe that if there was a real-life house, just assuming, he'd just be an ordinary ass and you'd never wanna go near him, never mind making friends with him

Probably not. The best thing about these popular songs being used in house was that no one noticed until the lyrics started, so it didn't seem cheap

But even if I was trying to mimick him, I'd like to see how that's actually a bad thing. He's one of the most intelligent television characters portrayed. That is, if you actually try to mimick his intellect along with his mannerisms, otherwise I agree with your other post that kids mimick his mannerisms but not his intellect, It just breeds arrogant idiots.

Oh cute, because I am similiar to someone that makes me a wannabe.

I guess Plato was a wannabe Socrates, and Newton was a wannabe Aristotle, and every astronomer is a wanna be Galileo.

There are only so many personallites in the world, there's bound to be similiarites.

And also, I don't take vicodin.

Thing is, When people are very intelligent in a specific field, they lack basic knowledge about something else. House for example his brain is wired very well for problem solving, but not well when it comes to personal relationships, etc. Like Asperger's Syndrome, They excel at something but are terrible at something else (usually Social behaviour). When I say very intelligent, I mean excel better than any other by a large margin.

Lot of -kids/teens- pretend to act like this guy. They sit there and say "oh i have dysfunctional problems, and i'm not happy, i'm like house". Yea, far from it. You're a kid that looks up to this guy because his character is made to be witty, quick and funny. So, "Monkey see, monkey do". Better yet, Ape see, ape do. Quit trying to be/act like something your not.
