Ending the 17-mile walking day in Orange, Texas

I can't ever tell you what will ultimately come from any given day on the road, but ALL of them hold their magic. Waking up this morning, I had no clue where I'd lay my head tonight, amidst the pounding thunderstorms. Before leaving Groves, I learned that Chief Dale had contacted a fire chief here in Orange, setting me up with a place to stay tonight. (YES!!!)
Once again, the guys are awesome!! I've been invited to go on calls with them, and here's a very brief window of just what it's like...
