I totally disagree with this point of view. I mean you took most of those Disney movies OUT OF CONTEXT. Gaston was a vain fool, The Beast was shown in a GOOD light for refusing to fight. Hercules started off scrawny and teased, but they made it a point that his worth wasn't found in his muscles. The women aren't viewed as property or pleasure, but people to cherish and love. As an avid Disney buff I do believe you obviously aren't watching the same movies I am.

@germany493 I agree, In mulan you have to think of the time period and how they would be viewed as women.

You have the wrong edge on this. What about goofy and max? Plus if you actually watch the disney movies it shows why they look that way. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and many other heros dont have abs. I mean, take a look at brother bear, keni doesn't have abbs. Gaston is made to look like that because he is vain and herculese is a god. In the lion King he wasn't fighting for a women, he was fighting because of the death of his father and that is how a natural lion would react.

Are you stupid?
I think you made a fool of yourself!

There are many examples where the hero is niether strong nor dominant (Atlantis, Ariel, MULAN etc.) and in absolutely EVERY Disney film, it's the good guy, that respects women and is kind to everyone that wins (Because he is lucky or uses his brain!). And the violent, dominant and strong guys lose and are ridiculed because all their strength didn't help them.

In my opinion Candidlshida and germany493 are totally right!

.__. Dude. Lions fight all the time for domanince. It's in there Nature too. If they THOUGHT like us they would try to solve it out through talking and reason. THEN it could to go violence. Yes the lions in the movie are "people like" but it's still the fact that they are how they are because they were created like that.
