  • there is nothing wrong with negotiating, but when you agree on the lower price, it is very insulting to then say you are going to walk away. if you want to do it that way, keep saying that it is too much or that you will come back later, but when they take money off and you say "OK", that is to be understood that you agree to that price as well.

  • this woman is useless mate, she like smiles when shes bargaining..if i was da seller i would think that shes tryna take da piss out of me wit dat sly smile nd i would try hustle her even more and she looks uncertain like she doesnt know the real value of the shit, u gotta put on a staunch face when dealing wit people and act as though u know wat ur talkin about, u dont say ohh thats expensive either cos thats like insulting the seller , dis aint a how-to lesson more like a wat not to do

  • 50? roooofllll! way tooo high!

  • lol, i see some ppl trying to get the lowest price from vendors but came back to buy at the higher price.

time changed, more customers came, price increase...WALLA!!!

  • The host wearing an orange shirt is MILDLY gay :D

  • You could have gone 1/2 price, If they say no, just walk away. They will come after you and accept your offer. I've been to all the Asian countries and it always work 2 out of 3 times.

  • NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER buy jewelry from a street shop because 96% if not all is not real! I was in Los Cabos Mexico and got (what I thought) was two Sterling Silver braclet... they even pulled out this fancy weight device to determine the price of the braclet via weight... I bought them both got home and went to a jewerly store and was told they both are "coated" with silver! I was pissed and a lesson on my behalf!

  • expert my ass whats the point on getting the seller to agree with your price and FUCKING WALK AWAY!?! stupid stupid stupid the real way to negotiate is to say a very low price you could've said 45 then go higher and the seller would be like ok take it for 50$

  • wow how cheap are you? ur not saving that much money and for fuck sakes they're just poor people give them a break, a can see negotiating a price for something bigger but not a tshirt.

  • That was a horrible negotiation! I went to China - Beijing once and went in to a little boutique that was selling fake designer items (polos, shirts etc). They started off with 150 RMB ~ 25 USD. After half an hour of arguing, pretending to leave etc. I bought 6 for 20 RMB each ~ 5 USD.

    Tip: Foreigner = Shark food

My guess is she got the bracelet for no more then 5$. I'm not kidding here.

  • This video was silly. Socractes, you're silly too - You should go to Cambodia and pay exactly what people ask for when you go to market. I'm sure it'll make you feel great about yourself.

  • u cud have gotten it down to 35. With bargaining the most difficult thing is to judge the initial offer that u can make without insulting the other person. Cos the initial offer sort of represents the minimum that u r willing to pay for the product. Set too low and the vendor dismisses u, set too high and the vendor has the opportunity to raise it higher and increase his profits. Best bet is to ask him whats his best offer and take it from there, or ask around at various places for 10 mins.
