@11bulletcatcher yeah,MG3 a modern version of "hitlers buzzsaw"..we use them in the norwegian army at home and overseas.

I agree on the slow firerate they are currently discussing replacing our MG3's with the FN Minimi ( SAW)..

@chrissi12 Speaking as a SAW gunner in the US ARMY, that high a fire rate, while badass, is not desirable. A slower fire rate means you're firing longer. If you're firing longer, you're suppressing the enemy longer, and therefore making it possible for your buddies to advance on the enemy while their heads are down. That said, the MG3 is fucking awesome.

@chrissi12 i think its "cause we just want power and reliability, and an m60 with the fire rate of a WW2 LMG/HMG would leave your shoulders a mess. (i dont know too much about guns, just stating what i DO know)
