This is a shot test video straight from C.P.E. (Combat Protective Equipment) doing their own shot tests on their 100% Dyneema Body Armor vests. They do tests that no other armor company would dare even try like burning a vest for 60 seconds and then shooting it.

  • Kevlar can not stop a 7.62x39 mm round, this proves that dyneema is better then kevlar. Imagine if you added some ceramic or steel plate to that, you would be a walking tank!

  • I heard that Russian army uses Dyneema vests with iron plates. Not sure as this wasn't reliable source.

  • Okay, so now you have to figure out how to keep bullets from breaking your ribs....

  • @xxReaverXXCerberusxx My company made it work in fact no LEVEL III NIJ shields out there for any Vehicles or Helicopters I have them now...Dyneema was super happy and glad for them too.

  • apc? isnt this video about body armor??

  • @MOS0317 NO not any more both are pure composites and need to completely move away from STEEL has occured..only reason Steel ever used anymore is it's cheap very very cheap price..I use none ...too heavy and absolutel nightare to work with once in finished state..HEAVY and Hard to machine. I already stop .308s with panels that are 1 ft x 1 ft at 3.2 lbs same peice of steel and Titanium is >>>10 pounds. More than 1/3 less weight ....Steel is long gone...no APC is made of it anymore. NONE

  • @CBAsystems yea with steal plates... if ur dumb enough to wear a steal plate on ur body, you deserve the splattering bullet hitting you in the throat and under the chin. arent u talking applications for helicopter plating? waaayyy different than body armor.

  • @ScientologySucksAss ... so does kevlar after about 5 years, thats recommended replacement time. kelvar also develops weak spots at creases and is super absorbent, so sweating while wearing it can weaken it over time... not sure if dyneema does but from what ive seen of it, its alot more wear durable and abrasion resistent than kevlar. sooo imo dyneema wins. plus if ur gunna throw dyneema away because it old and not because its used (been shot) ur doing something wrong =D
