  • Why does my chankast + fraps record so slooow?

and yeah, Hwangs the shit, I hate they got rid of him. His appearance in 3...i didnt like.

  • Maybe it's not noticible, but mine is slow also.

Try to reduce the graphic options on your graphic board and lower the resolution of chankast, try to make the game less heavy so that fraps can record properly.

  • I noticed its a little slow. But compared to mine, its fast.

I havent tried to lower the res...But Ill go for it.

When I use it, it literally goes to about 40 fps or less. And fighting during that is difficult, because of the speed problems interfering with the button inputs.

    Thanks though, Ill try it.

  • Fraps slowed it down, also this doesn't have music, because the disk i was using has a music problem wich will make the game freeze costantly making it look slow, fortunatly char exibition doesn't have music so it saved the recording.

i tought of making some HD ones of the char exibition and the music cenarios, i'll think about it and see if it can be done with a few tests

  • @7039TS that would be a lot of clones. Clones are boring, would rather have characters with new styles styles than characters using the same or similar styles.

  • I think that Namco should not set SC5 17 years later and still set it in 1591 and include all of the characters from soul blade to soul calibur 4 such as Taki, Mitsurugi, Voldo, Sophitia, Hwang, Li Long, Siegfried, Seung Mina, Rock, Cervantes, Han Myong, Inferno, Kilik, Maxi, Xianghua, Ivy, Nightmare, Astaroth, Lizardman, Yoshimitsu, Edge Master, Talim, Yunsung, Cassandra, Raphael, Charade, Necrid, Setsuka, Zasalamel, Tira, Olcedan, Algol, Hilde and Amy.

  • @Eileen2k You're comment is old and has probably been answered, but yeah, they just created a character that looked like Hwang and used a created character voice for him (although they added a couple of lines, that sounded like something Hwang would say).

  • I'm sick of the development team excluding Hwang from all of the games.

He's a cool character in that he's just a normal guy fighting for a cause. He's not a troubled person, a monster, or a power obsessed freak. He's just a good guy. He's the original Chinese Sword wielder and he has a balanced fighting style that's fun to play as, and it looks good for custom characters. He'd be perfect for SCV.

    Love those moves.

  • Dreamcast was a great and short lived console. This game is super old and honestly the graphics are amazing considering the year.

  • As far as we are now (SCIV) does Hwang know that Soul Edge is evil yet? Or does he still think he can save the world with it?

  • What a shame he was replaced with Yun-seong. Though he did make a apperance in sc3 i felt like they just used his model and gave him a created character voice. They did do that right?

  • I wish for Hwang's return in SC5.

  • if hwang was still in soul calibur, wonder what the games would be like

  • This level is the most beautiful level in the series
