The collections are the outcome of a fashion and recycling course taught by the Spanish artist /designer Ana Seco Duran and assistant fashion designer Islam Hamed.
Artist and fashion designer Ana Secco (Spain, 1965)
Ana has a Bachelors degree in fine arts from La Laguna University. She completed her studies on computer design and advertising in Madrid.
After one year teaching at a fashion academy, she took several courses on different aspects of art, fashion and design at the prestigious universities Parsons and FIT in New York, US. For 5 years she was a designer for group 3 design in New York and successfully completed several collections.
She also worked for other fashion companies and franchises as a designer, trend forecaster, fashion buyer, fabric buyer, PR and event organization, merchandiser and visual display expert and consultant. She owned and ran her own accessories shops and was general manager of a fashion shopping mall.
Ana has organized more than 15 fashion shows. From 2006-2007 she spent two years in Ethiopia and implemented the first fashion design diploma of the country.
She has also developed a career as an artist and designer having done 20 solo exhibitions and having created more than 15 accessories collections and 3 tee shirt collections.
