This is a video showing how I fair down new bottom frames before the inner ply is installed. This is a 1955 22' Chris Craft Continental. I am in the process of replacing the bottom.

  • Hi Klaus, That is a Rockwell Model 167A Power Planer. This one was probably made in the 70's. I was told that this model was popular with carpenters who used it to trim the bottom or top of wood doors to make them fit. It has a single spiral cutter about 1-1/4" in diameter. Thanks for watching the videos.

  • What's the name of the small power planer?

I have been looking for such a tool

    Klaus
