The Queen Mary 2, the largest ship to ever pass under the Golden Gate Bridge, arrived on Feb. 4, 2007.

It was quite a sight. The magnificent vessel was headed to Pier 27. Its last port of call was 26 days and 14,145 miles ago in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

About 2,000 of her 2,638 guests will be getting off in San Francisco. Tomorrow the ship sets sail for Hawaii in yet another stop on its 81-day around-the-world voyage.

  • Excellent Queen Mary video. Do you work for Pixar?? LOL Great job!!

  • I wish I did work for Pixar! LOL. Next time will try to make a video from the deck of the QM2 (just need to win the lotto and I'll be all set!) ;-)

  • great video ive been there but when i went it was the silver seas silver shadow ship.

  • I've never been on a cruise, but would have been satisfied on a Carnival cruise or some other cruise line. Until, that is, I saw this ship. The Queen Mary 2 is an ocean liner. Now I must experience a voyage on her! Anything less won't do now. :-(

  • Southampton... I believe that's the port where Mini Coopers set sail from to the U.S. and other ports around the world. I drive one here in California and love it! :-)
