Chapter 5

Sorry to all my subscribers, i didn't mean to keep you waiting. There will be a second part to this episode, but it will be short. Enjoy this episode, the next one will be better i promise.

Nick had no idea where his feet were taking him. It was like his mind had left him and his body was on autopilot. He slowly shuffled down the hallway making his way towards the exit.

A swarm of hospital staff moving in the opposite direction pushed him aside as they made their way towards Alleys room. Nick didn't even notice.

The darkness that surrounded him outside the hospital doors did not faze him, nor did the cold rain that poured down heavily on his trembling body.

All Nick could think about was the shame that lingered with this situation. He knew when the press got their filthy hands on this terrible news that they would swallow it whole. He also knew that they would twist his story around to be even worse than it already was. Nick shook his head at the thought, causing his brown locks to bounce furiously.

He had lost his fans once before because of Alley and her playboy reputation, he couldn't afford to lose them again because of her.

Nick stopped and sat down on the edge of the wet curb, his feet in a shallow puddle. The rain began to let up, but as cars drove on the slippery road and passed in front of Nick, they sprayed him with dirty rain water. This infuriated him, he wanted to get up and scream at all of the drivers, but his body was too weak, instead he rested his head in his hands once again.

Minutes went by and soon a blue lamborghini pulled up beside him. Nick slowly raised his head at the sound of the car and studied it.

The wheels were decorated with shiny chrome spinners, the hood polished with long hours of sweat and elbow grease, and the license plate read DJ DANGA.

The signature barney sing-a-long song blared out from the car, escaping from the open windows. Even in Nicks dismay he couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

The engine turned off and with it the loud music. The drivers side door opened and out stepped a very energetic Joe. His long black hair was tangled and blown back by the wind and his clothes were wrinkled and inside out.

Joe walked around the car over to where Nick sat and raised the sunglasses he wore even though it was night, away from his eyes,

"Why did you walk out on Alley?" Joe shouted getting right to the point, his mood was darkening.

Nick hung his head, "She told you?"

"Ya she called me, because she needed somebody to be with her," Joe spat. "You know she's feeling the same pain you are Nick."

Nick got up on his feet and yelled back at Joe, "Ya well her career isn't on the line, she isn't going to have to billions of fans hating her again."

Joe shook his head and proclaimed at the ground, "You just don't get it do you?"

Nick didn't listen he just kept shooting off his mouth, "Well she is the one who always gets me into all of this trouble, I can't handle her anymore."

Joe stepped onto the sidewalk and poked Nick in the chest repetitively, "It takes two people to have a baby, you're in this just as much as Alley is, don't blame her for all of it."

Nick pushed Joe away from him and back onto the street. "I have a reputation to keep and she is ruining everything for me."

Joe clenched his fist and raised his arm ready to punch, "You are such a selfish douche bag."
