So I decided to give vlogging a try and I realized I talk WAY too much. I apologize for being so verbose, I'll work on it for the future =).

Anyways, the point of the video is this: Support the music you love, because we, the consumer can shape the market for Asian American musicians.

Furthermore, as an Asian, we should just support ALL artists regardless of race.

The Asian population is raised in families who stress tactless criticism and elitism. (For example, Asian people compare themselves to each other academically, aesthetically, etc. Sure other races do this, but in Asia, "being #1" is pounded into us at a young age.) As a result, when an Asian artist has a chance of making it here, they are met with friction from their own community - who are in turn bitching that there aren't enough Asians in the media. Etc., etc.
