I wrote this song as a tribute to my Mum who died of cancer just 61,
Now as This crappy disease claims Wayman tisdale age just 44, I thought it would be a fitting tribute to him also,
If we spent more time and money on trying to find a cure,rather than trying to find new ways of killing each other, then maybe like Many families, Waymans kids may still have a dad

I am dedicating this song to my mother Jeri, who passed from cancer December 30, 2010.

I HAVE LOVED THIS SONG FOR SO MANY YEARS, BUT I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO SING IT FOR SOMEONE I LOVE. MY SISTER JUST LEFT US TWO WEEKS AGO, LEAVING HER 3 THREE CHILDREN AND EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO THIS LYRICS I THANK GOD FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL TIMES WE SHARED, HER MEMORY IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME.
