A standard for high performance snowboards, the Custom X is one of the most aggressive decks in Burton's lineup. With a fairly stiff flex, wax-lusting sintered base, lightweight core, and carbon/fiberglass laminates, the Custom X is designed to be ridden hard. For 2010, the introduction of the new Lightning Bolts add more attitude to this classic by increasing the edge-to-edge response time. The Custom X is best suited for the advanced rider that is looking for something fast and stable to smash anywhere, including the halfpipe and jumpline.

I have this board but i haven't ridden it yet. What do the lightings bolts do?

They transfer energy from the Channel to the edge more efficiently. This makes the movements of your legs better create reactions in the board.

I have tryed it and i loved it its so fast i spent 21 days non the snow and the more you wax it the faster it goes... its a lil stiff but if you know how to ride wll this is the snowboard for you... havent tryd it in a park, but i butured it on the slopes it needs a lil more pull but ill buter like a boad with more flex... thi is one mean killing machine! cant wait to hit the slopes next year! im just too fast for anybody!!! buy this snowboard its sick!
