In all seriousness though, I do think there's a symbolism in these hallucinations. I think they reflect on the characters in some way but I can't decipher Faye and Jet. I mean, would they really waste an entire episode and focus it on the characters getting high? It seems silly to think they'd simply throw away an entire episode of possible story progression.

I saw thus episode when I was 15. That day I decided that I wanted to get a Welsh Corgi and name him Ein.

Is there something deeper to these hallucinations?
Like Spike sees an incredibly long staircase with a light at the top. I think this represents his long search for some sort of purpose or meaning in his life. In his mind, he's getting closer to finding this but in reality, he isn't actually going anywhere. Then there's the frog's ominous warning. It's almost as if Spike knows he's heading towards some "point of no return" yet refuses to falter because he believes it's the only way forward.

okay jus a quick lesson for anyone who wants to try shrooms, this stuff is too real. this vid is great cuz its exactly wat you'd go thru. me personally, ill feel like that one guy at 5:11 every time. you feel like everything makes sense and you almost feel like youre god while at the same time you cant comprehend anything. i kno that sounds weird but if/when you try shrooms, you'll kno wat im talkin about
