South Hackensack, NJ—Around 9:30pm, the Wallington & South Hackensack Fire Departments where dispatched to 176 Saddle River Road in South Hackensack for a reported fire. A Wallington Fire Department chief was the first to arrive and reported fully involved 1sty commercial. This same structure had a arson fire a week prior so command gave the order that no member shall enter the building and defensive opps. was put into place.
The fire was brought under control a few hours later. 1 firefighter was taken to the hospital and the cause of the fire is under investigation, although it appears to be suspicious in nature because of the heavy volume of fire on arrival and the fire building being home to a previous arson fire.
